Incidentally, the carrot cover is reputed to be the worst selling D&AD annual of all time – legend has it that 500 copies were sold then the remainder stayed in a warehouse until pulped. But this post is to praise them heartily for something. The whole affair just stank, I'm afraid, and judging by the D&AD website, it appears little has changed: a single competition entry and a copy of their book will set you back a minimum £240 this year.
